Editorial Focus
Floriography is a digital literary publication from Lavender Education that showcases essays, poetry, fiction, interviews, and visual art exploring identity, memory, creativity, and history. The magazine uplifts emerging and established writers whose work is rooted in personal narrative, community histories, and distinctive storytelling. More than a journal, Floriography functions as a living archive—preserving voices, place-based memory, and creative practice across generations.
Tips From the Editor
Floriography accepts rolling submissions year-round. We welcome emerging and first-time writers alongside established voices. Work that blends history and personal narrative is especially encouraged. A small submission fee supports our operations as a small press. Contributors retain rights to their work.
Send one or two polished pieces that feel distinctly yours. We’re drawn to strong voice, specificity, and work grounded in lived experience or place. We encourage you to read a few pieces on the site before submitting so you understand the tone and range we publish.
