Editorial Focus
Encyclopedia Prismatica publishes littérature engagée, continuing the legacy of twentieth century journals like Les Temps Modernes, while expanding the scope and possibility of engagement. Encyclopedia Prismatica invites essays, poetry, fiction, and visual art that trouble the ordinary, complicate certainty, and awaken readers from the sleep of habitual thought. It seeks the politically aware and the philosophically precise, but also the strange, the tender, and the raw.
Tips From the Editor
ENPRI believes literature, art, and criticism are not passive reflections of society, but active confrontations with it. As such, the journal publishes work that calls readers into presence. Works should invite readers to engage with those aspects of our world which are uniquely ours, and which only we can explore. Every age carries with it a unique responsibility, and ENPRI is dedicated to ensuring we carry ours.
