Trevor Tingle

Poet

Author's Bio

Trevor Tingle dropped out of school at the age of 17. He spent his late teens and early adult years working odd jobs, hitchhiking, and hopping trains.
At 22 he broadened his travels and his skills in the world of tall ships. He sailed all four coasts of the US (East, West, Great lakes, and the Gulf), Canadian waters including the St Laurence Seaway, the Caribbean, the Panama Canal, across the Atlantic and back and all through the British and Western European water ways including the Spanish Mediterranean and the Canary Islands.
He met his wife on board the Tall Ship Bounty and they lived for years in New Orleans where their two children were born. While in New Orleans Trevor worked as a crew boat captain on the Mississippi.
Through out his travels he has always loved to write and in 2013 he began to have some success in publication. He is currently sitting on his first manuscript until he is satisfied with his pre-book publication history.
He and his family have recently moved to Richmond, VA
