Author's Bio

Suzy Eynon is a writer and civil servant living in Washington state. Her debut novella, Terrestrial, will be published by Malarkey Books in May 2026. She's also the author of the prose chapbooks Being Seen (Ethel, August 2025) and Commuting (Ghost City Press 2024 Summer Series). Her work is published in jmwwRoanoke ReviewPassages NorthAutofocusSouth Dakota ReviewX-R-A-Y, and elsewhere. Her work has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize, Best of the Net, and Best Microfiction, and her short story collection was shortlisted by YesYes Books for fiction in 2023. 

She holds a B.A. of English Literature from University of Washington Seattle, an MFA in Writing (Fiction) from Lindenwood University, and an MEd in Adult Education. She’s a fiction editor at Variant Lit and associate fiction editor at jmww, and is currently at work on a novel and a collection of short stories.
