The program offers a wide variety of courses including genre fiction, literary journal editing, narrative journalism, young adult writing, and scriptwriting. Students have the opportunity to focus on a Poetry, Fiction, Young Adult-Middle Grade Fiction, or Creative Nonfiction track and/or to take courses freely across genres. Students are welcome to take all their coursework online, as a hybrid, or all on campus in St. Charles, Missouri. The program hosts student readings and a “Craft Talk” series with visiting writers.
