Robert McKay is a tutor, classroom aide, bartender, unionist & community organizer in Seattle. Robert studied philosophy & was an undergraduate fellow at the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference. His first book of poems was Cities of rain (Honeybee Press, 2012). Poems have appeared recently or are forthcoming in jubilat, Green Mountains Review, Requited, Existere, Siren & others. Robert lives in Capitol Hill with his partner, a union organizer, & their cat, a sadomasochist. He is at work on a mistranslation of Rimbaud’s A season in hell (1873) and on his first novel.
