Author of A Lucent Fire: New and Selected Poems (White Pine) and seven other collections including Painkiller, Femme du Monde and The Weather That Kills.

Two plays were commissioned and produced to Mabou Mines. Program coordinator at St. Marks Poetry Project; curator WORDS SUNDAY. Panelist/moderator at AWP in Chicago, Los Angeles, Denver; readings/workshops at Poets House, Naropa University, URI, SFSU Poetry Center, BookCourt,and Chicago State U.; Community of Writers, Squaw Valley. Faculty Bloomfield College,and CUNY.Senior Fellow Black Earth Institute.
