About Lucinda

Lucinda Watson has worked as a teacher, a healer, a volunteer, a naturalist guide, a storyteller and a board member of a few nonprofits,  sometimes all at once. Watson worked for more than 10 years at the Haas School of Business, teaching communication skills to the MBA population and recruiting business leaders to speak at Haas. Prior to working at Haas, she taught at San Francisco State University and the University of San Francisco. She is now a full time poet and devotes her time to volunteering with kids in local schools and a commitment to causes that focus on women and children. Her first book of poems, “The Favorite”,was published by Golden Antelope Press in 2020. Her poetry has been published in The Stickman Review, The Louisville Review, Jelly Bucket, Healing Muse, Poet Lore, The Round, Lindenwood Review, Penman Review and others and she was nominated in 2017 by Jelly Bucket for a Pushcart Prize. She is listed in Poets&Writers.
