Kristin Berger

Kristin Berger is the author of 6 poetry collections: Earthwork (The Poetry Box, 2022), Changing Woman, Changing Man (with Diane Sandall, Nightjar Press, 2022), Refugia (Persian Pony Press, 2019), Echolocation (Cirque Press, 2018), How Light Reaches Us (Aldrich Press, 2016, 2nd edition 2024), and For the Willing (1st edition, Finishing Line Press, 2008; 2nd edition, Nightjar Poetry Press, 2024): and co-editor of VoiceCatcher 6 (2011) with Toni Partington. Her long prose-poem, Changing Woman & Changing Man: A High Desert Myth, was a finalist for the 2016 Newfound Prose Prize, Berger's poetry has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize, Best of the Net, and the Oregon Book Award, and she has been awarded residencies from PLAYA at Summer Lake and The Spring Creek Project.

Kristin serves as Board President for PLAYA, an art and science residency program in Southeastern Oregon, in Summer Lake.
