Editorial Focus

The Blue Hour is the period of twilight each morning and evening where we move from day to night. There is neither full daylight nor complete darkness. This time is considered special because of its unique quality of light. The purpose of this magazine is to provide a place where artists and writers can gather, read and see each other’s work and allow their work to be found by others. It is also a place where we can publish valuable art and put it out into the world. There are very few things greater than finding new talent.

Tips From the Editor

We welcome submissions of poetry, essay, short story, photography or photos of other visual artworks. Do not include more than 3 pieces per submission, or in the case of a short story 1 piece per submission. Please use the link to send your submission, after you create and account you can send your work as an attachment. You may submit ONCE a month. We discourage simultaneous submissions, or work that has been published elsewhere.
