Author of MAKE YOUR HOME AMONG STRANGERS, a novel (St. Martin's Press, August 2015) and HOW TO LEAVE HIALEAH, an Iowa Prize winning story collection (University of Iowa Press). Picador Professor of Literature at the University of Leipzig (Germany) for Fall/Winter 2013-14. Currently an assistant professor of English and Ethnic Studies at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln.
