Elisabetta La Cava

Elisabetta is a double immigrant, born in Italy and raised in Venezuela, living in Austin, Texas. Her book excerpt "Not Your Cinema Paradiso" won the 2024 New Letters Literary Awards.  She is a 2026 Ucross Fellow and was a 2025 Tennessee Williams Scholar at Sewanee Writers’ Conference. A 2026 Bread Loaf participant in fiction, Elisabetta earned her MFA from Bennington Writing Seminars. Her work can be found in Arrowsmith Journal, New Letters, Cleaver Magazine, Another Chicago Magazine, Stone Canoe, The Pointed Circle, Texas Poetry Calendar, and other journals.
