Author's Bio

Chengru He (何琤茹/Siho Ho/何羲和) is the author of the poetry collection M O N  (Free Verse Editions/Parlor) and the hybrid memoir I Would Vanish into Its Stronger Existence (Wet Cement), a Big Other Nonfiction Book Award finalist. She is also the Chinese translator of Tell Me, How You Live by Agatha Christie and Howl’s Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones. Her poetry, prose, creative translations, and multimedia works appear in Ancient Exchange, Colorado Review, Fence, Gulf Coast, Interim, The Kenyon Review, among others. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Alabama. She is currently based in Salt Lake City, where she is a PhD candidate in English Literature and Creative Writing at the University of Utah.
