Editorial Focus
Wet Cement Press, formerly based in Berkeley, California, currently operates from rural North Carolina. The press typically publishes 2-4 books a year with a focus on poetry, memoir, creative nonfiction, experimental fiction, and hybrid works. Our annual New Constructions Contest awards publication to a hybrid work. Aesthetic tastes run toward the lyrical and spontaneous, the raw and unsmooth. We are not particularly interested in "identity" based writing.
