Author's Bio

B.A. Marquette University; M.A. Syracuse University; M.F.A. Washington University in St. Louis. After 31 years of teaching university courses I am a full-time freelance writer and well-established Sylvia Plath scholar. Author of the poetry volumes Fierce Consent (2005) and Hide and Sex (2015); author of Island Universe: Essays and Entertainments (2007), Meet Me: Writers in St. Louis (2010), Sun Sign Confidential (2015), and Tetrabiblos for the 21st Century: The Bible of Astrology, Simplified (2020).
