Author's Bio

Mary Harwell Sayler placed 36 books in all genres and over 2,000 poems, articles, devotionals, and children’s stories with traditional and indie publishers. In 2012 Hiraeth Press published Living in the Nature Poem, and in 2014 Kelsay Books published her Bible-based poems Outside Eden and book of nature poems for children Beach Songs & Wood Chimes. She released her poetry book Faces in a Crowd, and in 2017, Cladach Publishing published PRAISE! Later that year, Mary released her poetry book Lost in Faith. Besides discussing poetry on the Poetry Editor & Poetry blog, Mary continues to critique poems and children’s picture books for a small fee. She’s also written 3 Kindle e-books for poets and writers, and she maintains her website In 2019, Mary and Writers-Editors Network began The WrEN Award for poetry, honoring the poet, rather than a single poem. Deadline coincides with the end of National Poetry Month, April 30.
