Bio:

Mary Harwell Sayler has placed over 36 books in all genres and over 2,500 poems, articles, devotionals, and children’s stories with traditional and indie publishers. In 2012 the former Hiraeth Press published Living in the Nature Poem, and in 2014 Kelsay Books published her Bible-based poems Outside Eden and book of nature poems for children Beach Songs & Wood Chimes. That year, Mary also released her poetry book Faces in a Crowd, and in 2017, Cladach Publishing published PRAISE! Later that year, she released her poetry book Lost in Faith and after that Faces in a Crowd.  In 2020, she collected many of her previously published poems into A Gathering of Poems, which, like her other books, is available on Amazon and Kindle. Also in 2020,  she collected most of the prayers in the Bible, paraphrased them into contemporary language, and published the unique prayerbook, the Book of Bible Prayers  followed by the Book of KJV Prayers in the King James Version only.  She then collected over 250 Bible promises, paraphrased them into everyday English, and added conversational prayers to illustrate her book, Kneeling on the Promises of God. In June 2020, Cyberwit.net published her book, Talking to the Wren: haiku, short verse, and one long poem, and Mary published A Gathering of Poems. In 2023, she released Haiku Happening, and in 2024, The ABC's of Poetry: A Dictionary for Children and For Fun followed by Highku: For Lovers of God - "Highku" being her term for haiku that honors God.
