Author's Bio

My niche is science-inspired poetry. I advocate including poetry as reading fodder for scientists as a way to encourage creativity and better science writing, and I encourage incorporating science-inspired poetry into STEM classes, from K12 on up into graduate school. A recent example of one way I attempt to encourage scientists to consider more poetry is a publication titled "Increast your communications bandwidth!," published in the Limnology and Oceanography Bulletin (April, 2023) (https://typeset.io/papers/increase-your-...).
