A prize of $10,000 Canadian (approximately $7,239) is awarded for a debut poetry collection by a living Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada published during the current year. Four Quartets Prize

Publishers may submit four copies of a book no less than 48 pages in length and published between July 1 and December 31 by December 19. North American Poetry Book Award

Submit three copies of a book no less than 50 pages in length that was published in 2025 with a $36 entry fee ($25 for current PSV members), which includes a one-year membership to the organization, by January 15, 2026. The winner also receives 10 copies of their chapbook, an additional $500 to give a reading with the contest judge at Center for Book Arts in New York City in fall 2026, and a free weeklong residency at Millay Arts in Austerlitz, New York, for their Wintertide Rustic Retreat. American Book Awards
