Tips From the Editor:

Another New Calligraphy seeks work exploring the human experience, our internal worlds, and life among others; these complex systems are often clearest in our slightest moments. Please familiarize yourself with recent projects for a general sense of these themes and their past expression.

While the catalog’s niche may seem primarily poetic, other modes of expression are more than welcome. The press is always on the lookout for more music and nonfiction, as well as further opportunities to broaden the inclusivity of its community. Marginalized creators are highly encouraged to consider Another New Calligraphy as a home for their work.

Editorial Focus:

Another New Calligraphy has enjoyed the quiet thrill of making and sharing since 2009. ANC guides writers and musicians in the realization of their work via the production of quality books and musics; the online journal Impossible Task showcases additional creative achievements.

Another New Calligraphy hopes to deliver small acts of wonder while facilitating an appreciation of unique experiences and perspectives. Their catalog strives to showcase diverse voices while honoring the stories they tell and the communities they represent.
