Saw Palm is a Florida-themed literary journal produced by the MFA program at the University of South Florida. It publishes poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, comics, art, photography, reviews, and interviews.

Places to Stand in Florida, a special project of our website, features a Google Earth map of the state with pushpin essays that capture the variety of Florida environments, natural and man-made. The editors actively seek new writers and artists and make it a point to respond personally (if briefly) to every submission.

Be sure your work is in some way connected with Florida. Electronic submissions only—please use the submission page on our website. Send only previously unpublished work. Please subscribe if you appreciate great Florida literature and art!
