Author's Bio

Sarvin Parviz (she/her) is a collaborative writer, poet, librettist, playwright and multimedia artist born in Tehran, Iran. She is the winner of Graduate and Professional Council Award in Creative Activities and a semifinalist in the European Opera-directing Prize (EOP). Her work has appeared in Roi Fainéant Literary Press, The Indianapolis Review, Apple Valley Review among others. She is the alumna of Guerilla Opera and FUSE: Collaborations in song where she develoepd her first opera and song cycle. She has an MFA in fiction from Southern Illinois University Carbondale.
