Author's Bio

Sarvin Parviz (she/her) is amulti-genre writer, multimedia artist and collaborator born in Tehran, Iran. Her repertoire includes libretti, plays, fiction, nonfiction and poetry, as well as, collage, live art/performance, mixed-media painting and photography. She is the winner of Graduate and Professional Council Award in Creative Activities and a semifinalist in the European Opera-directing Prize (EOP). Her work has appeared in Fractured Lit, Grain Magazine, The Indianapolis Review, Apple Valley Review, Roi Fineánt Literary Press among others. She is the alum of Guerilla Opera where she develoepd her first opera and Fuse: Collaborations in Song, where she developed her song cycle. She has an MFA in fiction from Southern Illinois University Carbondale.
