Author's Bio

Jack Mackey published his first poem as a graduate student at age 30 and his second poem when he retired at age 69.  Since then Jack's poetry has appeared in Gargoyle, Third Wednesday, Broadkill Review, Anti-Heroine Chic, and other literary publictions.  In 2021 Jack was awarded a  fellowship in poetry from the Delaware Division of the Arts. His first volume of poetry, Up, Out & Over (Kelsay Books, 2024) won first place in the 2024 Delaware Press Association competition. He holds a master's degree in English from the University of Maryland and lives in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware and Wilton Manors, Florida.
