Harry Palacio

Harry Edgar Palacio (Oregon Kool-aid) is a critically acclaimed underground Indie/Alternative musician, numerous award-winning author & prize-winning fine artist. He hit #1 in Luxembourg music charts with his hit single "Coral Relief", performed with Grammy winners & Grammy nominated artists including Ari Up, lead singer of The Slits 'Godmothers of Punk' former members of The Raincoats, championed by Kurt Cobain. He was offered a music contract with Atlantic & Interscope Records, featured on over 100 music magazines including Rolling Stone, MTV, XXL, ABC, CBS, NBC, African Hype, Folk N' Rock, HipHop 1987, Vents & elsewhere. Harry performed at Paramount Theater, NYC, Dominican Republic, Studio Two, Annual Peace Concert, September Fest, & 925 South. Harry is 'Oregon Kool-aid,' & 'Harry Edgar Palacio,' his 19 studio albums are available on all platforms. Harry was a finalist for Fjords Review Book Competition, semi-finalist for Quartz Literary Prize & Willow Run Book Award, grand prix at Hudson Valley MOCA Writing Off the Walls, Finishing Line Press chapbook & book competition. He has published 14 books internationally and Harry's prose-poetry has been published in over 75 magazines, journals, reviews & anthologies including Amberdextrous Bloodhound, Ballast, Pumpernickle House, North of Oxford, Mortal Magazine, Cesarus, Allegory Ridge, Punt Volat, Active Muse, BarBar, Tule Review, Washington Square Review, Landlocked, In Parentheses, Rigorous,  Inlandia & elsewhere. His fine art was featured on the cover of Blotter Rag Magazine & Bellevue Review with artwork published in over 14 magazines including The Morgue, The Bitchin' Kitsch, Suburban Witchcraft, The Courtship of Winds, International Voices & Inside Voice, who has been accepted to show fine art at galleries & festivals in NYC, UK & Italy; including School of Visual Arts, Graffik Gallery, Open Studios Peekskill 2016, 2017, & 2021; Paul Robeson Gallery, H-Art Gallery & Mount Kisco Arts Council. He was a music journalist for Popfadblog, Art Teacher in the Dominican Republic, Assistant TESOL Teacher & has read 5,511 books in his lifetime making him top #26 reader in the United States of America & top #49 reader globally. Harry was a college radio DJ & Rock Music Director at WARY 88.1. He is an International Yoga Master 200 Hours certified by Universe Yoga Alliance in Nepal/ India, Reiki Grandmaster, Astrologer, Occultist, Oracle, Clairaudient, Yoga & Ayurveda Guru whose Guruji is Sri Dharma Mittra, master of poses, who studied under Sri Yogi Gupta; famed yogic master. Harry is second generation Osho lineage. He is a Meditation Master and has meditated 165,000 minutes in his lifetime. Harry is a US citizen & lives in Mount Kisco, New York born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; former residence Villa Juana, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, San Carlo, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, Nagarkot, Nepal & Pokhara, Nepal. He received a Master’s in Education from Manhattanville University where he worked as assistant director of the social justice branch. Harry was accepted into Harvard University & has certificates from The New School & Rolling Stone Magazine, Parsons School of Design & Complex Magazine, Wesleyan University & Stanford University etc. He is a BIPOC living with schizoaffective disorder
