Romaine Washington

Romaine Washington (she/her) is the editor of  88 Unashamed Black Mental Health Stories, These Black Bodies Are… A Blacklandia Anthology, and Cholla Needles Issues 105, 102, and 88; she is also the author of two poetry books, Purgatory Has an Address (Bamboo Dart Press) and Sirens in Her Belly (Jamii Publishing). Washington’s poetry has been publisher-nominated for Best of the Net, and she is a twice-publisher-nominated Pushcart Prize poet. Washington is a graduate fellow at The Watering Hole Retreat in South Carolina and a fellow of the Inland Area Writing Project at the University of California, Riverside.
