Author's Bio

Liz Mariani earned an MFA in Poetry from Mills College. She has poems in Queering The Apocalypse via Double Text Media, Slipstream Magazine, Moonlit Getaway,  "Record of Dissent: Poems of Protest in an Authoritarian Age — Summer 2025" - via The Chaos Section Poetry Project,  Italian Trans Geographies edited by Danila Cannamela, Marzia Mauriello, and Summer Minerva via SUNY Press, The Brooklyner, Fortunates, Artvoice, Images Magazine, PoemTown Randolph, Great Lakes Review, The Waiting Room, The Buffalo News, After The Pause and Advaitam Speaks. She has broadsides through collaborations with Jeremy Maxwell and Michael Morgulis. Liz Mariani is also an award-winning curator of spoken word events and respected spoken word artist.
