Author's Bio

I am a retired university professor and author of the poetry collection, Comfort in Small Rooms. Individual poems from this collection won the 2008 Robert Cohn Prose Poetry Award, appeared in Best New Poets 2009, are included in the online anthology, In the Heydays of His Eyes, and have been read by Garrison Keillor on The Writer’s Almanac. Other poems have appeared in The Bellingham Review, The Atlanta Review, The New Guard, Aesthetica, Naugatuck River Review, The Mom Egg Review and Memoir.
