Funding/Employment Opportunities: 

The program offers partial funding. The program offers a variety of graduate assistantships, including teaching assistantships, writing center tutor positions, and intern positions with the Texas Review and Texas Review Press. 

We now offer three $10,000 fellowships per year (renewable for three years) in addition to the graduate assistantships.

The program hosts the National Book Awards Festival each spring, which features events with National Book Award finalists and winners.

The application deadline for funding is October 15 for spring start and March 15 for fall start. Applications received after these deadlines are accepted on a rolling basis.
