Join Michael Bourne, a contributing editor of Poets & Writers Magazine, on Saturday, July 10, at 3PM ET for “Demystifying the Agent Search,” a ninety-minute online class designed for writers who are ready to approach agents for representation. In this session we’ll drill deep on how literary agencies work, how to get on gatekeepers’ radar, how to craft a query, and how to find an agent who is right for you, with plenty of time to field your questions. Space is limited so reserve your spot now for just $20. (Ten fee waivers for BIPOC writers seeking representation are also available.)
Michael Bourne has covered the publishing industry for the past decade for Poets & Writers Magazine, where he is a contributing editor. His work has appeared in the New York Times, Salon, the Economist, and the Millions, where he is a staff writer, and his short fiction has appeared in december, the Southampton Review, and Tin House online. His debut novel, Blithedale Canyon, is due out from Regal House in July 2022.
Time/format: Saturday, July 10, at 3PM EDT on Zoom
