Editorial Focus
Yellow Arrow Vignette is an annual summer series seeking to champion the diverse, unique voices that make Baltimore what it is today. This issue of Vignette welcomes submitters to consider what the theme LUMINATE means to them (the submission does not need to be about Baltimore to be included). Yellow Arrow interprets LUMINATE as being shaken, electrified into vivid color; blaring with welcome; embracing and celebrating the self that has been contained for too long; buzzing with audacity and seeping into darkness; calling others like you to find their home.
Tips From the Editor
We’re looking foremost for women-identifying creatives from the Baltimore region or who have a connection to Charm City. This means women-identifying writers/authors who currently live in, grew up in, or recently lived in the Baltimore or surrounding area. We encourage creative interpretations of the theme. In addition to poetry and creative nonfiction, we also seek cover art submissions.
