Editorial Focus
We're looking for fiction (<7000 words), poetry, critical essays, and translations.
Our name come from something once said by Harold Brodkey: "The reader in his or her life has more access to the real than the author does, which counters the author's more practised access to language. This is Momentism." We looking for writing that takes up this relationship, that hazards being misunderstood. This doesn't necessarily only mean experimental writing, and we'll consider writing of all styles.
Tips From the Editor
For the third issue, we’re particularly interested in essay/criticism and translation proposals, though we will consider submissions of all kinds.
