Editorial Focus

Moxy is a literary magazine that focuses on creative nonfiction - work with a nonfiction subject matter, written with the imaginative verve and stylistic skill of the best fiction. We publish criticism, essays, travel writing, memoir, and pieces that blur the boundaries in between. We also feature original artwork and cartoons.

Tips From the Editor

Submissions should be between 1000 and 4000 words. We accept simultaneous submissions and favour UK-style punctuation (en-dashes not em-dashes, single not double quotation marks). We also accept pitches for as yet unwritten pieces. Please ensure you read the full submissions guidelines on our website before sending in your work.
