Editorial Focus

The Masters Review publishes new and emerging writers and is open to any writer who does not have a novel under contract with a major press. Stories are published online and in print. Our printed anthology acts as a showcase of today’s best emerging writers. Every issue is selected by a guest judge. We also feature regular contests throughout the year, including two short story contests (Winter and Summer), a flash fiction contest, and a novel excerpt contest. New Voices category publishes work online, is open year round.

Tips From the Editor

Please read submission guidelines carefully. We also offer fast response, editorial feedback, and book reviews. Enjoy!
