Author's Bio

Yuan Changming (real name: Yuan Wuming) grew up in a remoate village, began to learn the English alphabet in Shanghai at age 19 and published several monographs on translation before leaving China. With a PhD in English from the University of Saskatchewan, Yuan currently lives in Vancouver, where he edits Poetry Pacific with Allen Qing Yuan at poetrypacific.blogspot.ca. Credits include 10-time Pushcart nominations, 7 chapbooks, Best of the Best Canadian Poetry: Tenth Anniversary Edition, Best New Poem Online, and publications in more than 1,500 literary outlets across 42 countries.
