Editorial Focus

Two Thirds North is an international annual publication of poetry, short fiction, short non-fiction, graphics and photography. We seek works with a view to the world, insight into the details of the human condition and relationships in it. Themes are not specified.

Poetry in translation to English

For this year’s anthology we are also inviting new, high quality translations of poetry from other languages into English.

Tips From the Editor

English submissions only. Please submit a maximum of five poems, two stories or eight graphic images. Color graphics used only on cover images, and online publication

For translations, please include a copy of the original poem and all copyright information, as we would like to print selected translations as facing-page presentations.
If the original poem is in a non-Roman alphabet, please include a transliteration of the original.
We would also like a brief explanation of the aesthetic and formal choices you made in the process of your translation in order to understand what makes your translation fresh or vital (we will not publish these explanations).
