Author's Bio

Viktoria Valenzuela is an inaugural Zoeglossia Fellow, a Macondista, the San Antonio Chapter lead for Women Who Submit, and the organizer of 100 Thousand Poets for Change: San Antonio. Her writing seeks to focus on lived experience as a Chicana m(other)scholar and antiracist activist. She is a writer and activist whose work appears in many anthologies, zines and journals. Valenzuela is married to the poet Vincent Cooper they have six children and live in San Antonio, Texas.
