Author's Bio

Winner of the 2016 Penelope Niven Fiction Prize, the 2018 Flying South Fiction Prize, and a 2019 Doris Betts Fiction Prize finalist, Spencer Brown's work has appeared in Prime Number, Scalawag, Empty Sink, Parhelion, and elsewhere. His debut novel Move Over Mountain will be published in November, 2019 by J. New Books. He lives and writes in the Appalachian foothills of North Carolina with his wife and son.
