Author's Bio

I am a writer and poet; former adult ed. teacher in IL and ME; many readings in ME, including National Poetry Day at governor's mansion; Longfellow Days in Brunswick; Boothbay Heritage Days in Boothbay Harbor. In 2013 I won a MORE Award for reporting excellence from the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. I specialize in fitness, health and outdoor topics, but take on anything that interests me. I've been publishing my nonfiction and poetry for 30 years and have lived in MA, CT, IL, ME, now OR.
