I am a writer and poet; former adult ed. teacher in IL and ME; many readings in ME, including National Poetry Day at governor's mansion; Longfellow Days in Brunswick; Boothbay Heritage Days in Boothbay Harbor. In 2013 I won a MORE Award for reporting excellence from the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. I specialize in fitness, health and outdoor topics, but take on anything that interests me.
