Author's Bio

SARAH KAIN GUTOWSKI is the author of Fabulous Beast: Poems (Texas Review Press) and a chapbook, Fabulous Beast: The Sow (Hyacinth Girl Press). She teaches writing and literature as a Professor of English at Suffolk County Community College, where she has co-chaired the SCCC Creative Writing Festival for over a decade. She has poems in recent issues of The Gettysburg Review and Menacing Hedge, and criticism in the latest issue of Calyx: A Journal of Art and Literature by Women. Her work has appeared in past issues of Phantom Drift: A Journal of New Fabulism, Painted Bride Quarterly, So to Speak: A Feminist Journal of Language and Art, Verse Daily, The Gettysburg Review, The Southern Review, Epiphany, and The Threepenny Review.
