Editorial Focus
Painted Bride Quarterly’s editorial staff is triangulated out of Philadelphia, NYC, and Abu Dhabi, with a community-based process for work. PBQ publishes poems, stories, & non-fiction that represent the individual, with a preference for the clever, irreverent, & urbane. Its authors, both emerging & established, are published in alternating themed & unthemed issues. Founded in 1973 at the Painted Bride Arts Center in Philadelphia, PBQ is currently housed at Drexel University.
