Author's Bio

Ron Talney has published poems in numerous journals as well as five volumes of poetry, a juvenile mystery novel, The Ghost of Deadman's Hollow, from University Editions, and most recently, an adult novel, Nockers Up! from Inkwater Press. He was born in Canada but has lived in the United States most of his life.

Prizes won: 

He has received awards from the Oregon State Poetry Association, The North American Mentor Society, The Writer's Digest, and in 1985 his poem, Portlandia, was selected as the dedication poem for the statue, Portlandia, a landmark work of art residing in downtown Portland, Oregon, second in size only to the Statue of Liberty.
