Author's Bio

Romaine Washington is the author of Sirens in Her Belly, Editor's Choice top ten must-read for 2016. She is a fellow of The Watering Hole, SC and Inland Area Writing Project UC Riverside. Through IAWP UCR, Washington served as poet-in-resident for educators at the Riverside Mission Inn for three years. She has presented her poetry in a variety of venues from the Caifornia Assocciation of Teachers of English conference to community programs in Georgia.   As an active participant in the poetry community she has served as a judge for Poetry Outloud and was a panel participant in the 2018 AWP Conference. Ms. Washington is currenlty a facilitator for the San Bernardino creative writing workshop organized by Inlandia Institute and co-sponsored by Poets & Writers.
