Author's Bio

I am a Graduate of Dartmouth College with a degree in Religion. Since 2015 I have been the Editor of Rat's Ass Review {ratsassreview.net), an online poetry magazine.

I am retired from government service, and am active in my community, serving on the Board of Directors of the Southern Vermont Astronomy Group (SoVerA), as a Trustee of the Westhersfield Proctor Library in Weathersfield, Vermont, and a member of the Board of Libraries for the State of Vermont. I am also currently the Emergency Management Director for the Town of Weathersfield, VT.

I live in Weathersfield, Vermont with my wife, Lynda Tallarico.

In 1999 I received a Best Essay award from the International Regional Magazine Association for my essay Straightening Nails which appeared in Vermont Life Magazine. My poem Within the Science, Art took second place in the Global Astronomy Month 2012 poetry competition sponsored by Astronomers Without Borders.
