Author's Bio

Born in Youngstown, Ohio and raised in the Cleveland area, Rob Smith has been writing poetry and prose for over fifty years. As with many young writers, his creative efforts developed beneath the requirements of career. Nonetheless, he quietly persisted in creating a body of work representative of his imagination. In 2006, he entered his first poetry competition and was presented the Robert Frost Poetry Award by the Frost Foundation of Lawrence, MA. Since that time, he has written and/or edited a number of novels, poetry collections, and anthologies. Several of these can be found in the Library of Congress (Smith, Rob 1947-). He holds a bachelor’s degree in religion and philosophy from Westminster College (Pa) and master and doctoral degrees from Princeton Theological Seminary.

He and his wife, Nancy, currently write from Ohio's north coast.
