Patrick Ryan was born and raised in New Orleans. He was formerly editor-in-chief of Fourteen Hills and assistant editor of Harrington Gay Men's Fiction Quarterly. He was the founder and editor-in-chief of Lodestar Quarterly. He lives in San Francisco with his partner.
