Author's Bio

Nick Demske lives in Racine Wisconsin and works there at the Racine Public Library. His self-titled manuscript was chosen by Joyelle McSweeney for the Fence Modern Poets Series Award and published by Fence Books in 2010. He also had a chapbook published in 2012 called "Skeetly Deetly Deet" (Strange Cage Press). In 2010, he was included as one of the 10 debut poets by Poets and Writers Magazine. He is co-founder of the BONK! Poetry and Music series in Racine, which has been hosting events every month since 2008 (http://bonkperformanceseries.wordpress.com/).
