Author's Bio

Mickey Greaves writes CNF. She learned from poets (Joel Lewis, the Jersey poet and a state laureate nominee, for one), Sylvie Bertrand at The Writers Studio, Lucia Berlin, Anne Lamott, Mary Karr and Vivian Gornick. Folks who braid stories, like Eula Biss and Jo Ann Beard are favorites.

Her work appears in “The Hong Kong Review, “Gramercy Review,” "Passengers Journal," “Cagibi,” "Please See Me," and "Poydras Review."

She has served for several years on the masthead at two journals, working as a prose reader and sometime editor.

Mickey founded her writers group, The Scrawl, in May 2021. Interested writers should reach out to her here or IG @mickeygreaves
