Lo Naylor

LO NAYLOR (she/they) is poet and filmmaker from Salt Lake City. Winner of the 2025 Ploughshares Emerging Writer’s Contest in Poetry, Lo earned an MFA from NYU (2025) and holds a BA from Columbia University in Art History and Visual Arts. Her award-winning films (as Laura Naylor) have screened internationally at major festivals, aired on the BBC, and are available for streaming. Lo’s work has been supported by the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference, the New York Foundation for the Arts, and the PVBLIC Foundation. Recent poems appear or are forthcoming in Poetry, Ploughshares, The Missouri Review, Adroit Journal, Narrative, Alaska Quarterly Review, Prairie Schooner, and Best New Poets 2025, among others. She lives and works in Brooklyn.
