Author's Bio

Kristin Bryant Rajan, PhD, writes and publishes literary criticism, poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction. She is interested in the correlations between modernist literature and Buddhist conceptions of identity and is currently exploring this concept in Virginia Woolf’s Orlando: A Biography. In addition, she is working on a book of creative nonfiction about marrying into a traditional Hindu family. She teaches English at Kennesaw State University, where she also facilitates seminars on meditation and happiness. She explores meditation and happiness in her research and teaching of writing and literature. She is a Pushcart and Best of the Net nominee. Her creative writing can be found in The Watershed Review, The Explicator, Apeiron Review, Parks and Points,  Fredericksburg Literary and Art Review,  Postcard Poems and Prose Magazine, the anthologies Moon Days: Creative Writing about Menstruation, Just a Little More Time: 56 Writers on Love and Loss, and Surprised by Joy among others.
